HDPulse – A community health worker intervention to improve blood pressure among Filipino Americans with hypertension: A randomized controlled trial

Description: This is a CHW-led intervention in New York City (2011–2013) for Filipino Americans with hypertension. CHWs delivered workshops and community/home visits over 4 months, resulting in improved blood pressure control, decreased systolic and diastolic BP, and better appointment-keeping at 8-month follow-up.
