Culturally Tailored Social Media Intervention Improves Health Outcomes in Chinese Americans with Type 2 Diabetes: Preliminary Evidence from a Pilot RCT
Description: This publication evaluates a culturally and linguistically tailored social media intervention designed to improve diabetes self-management and health outcomes among Chinese Americans with type 2 diabetes. Using a pilot randomized controlled trial, the study assesses the feasibility, acceptability, and potential impact of delivering diabetes education via social media and community health worker support to a primarily low-income, limited-English-proficiency population.
