Strong Heart Study

Description: The Strong Heart Study is a long-running, multi-center research initiative examining cardiovascular disease and related risk factors among American Indian populations. Conducted across field centers in Arizona, the Dakotas, and Oklahoma, the study integrates community-based research with clinical, genetic, and epidemiologic methods to better understand disparities in heart disease and inform prevention and treatment strategies tailored to American Indian communities.
